Who am I Exactly?
My name's Èvalon Freese. Online I go by the name Coerulea (Von_Coerulea)
I'm a 20-year-old Artist specializing in character design and an aspiring professional 2D cell animator.
over my years of drawing, I've grown into a personal drawing style that I've grown quite fond of. but I'm always looking to challenge myself with new techniques, art styles, and different art mediums in general.
Nowadays I mainly focus on making elaborate and enthralling projects based on music and/or character writing and designing. The biggest strength of my art lies in the different meanings I put into my concepts, with which I encourage people to interpret their own beliefs and values into. I genuinely find it fun to hear other peoples thoughts on these subjects and I'm convinced that that is where art as a general medium truly shines.
White Death Expo
"Taking care of yourself mentally is like tending a garden"
White Death aims to speak on the faint whispers that occupy ones mind in the degradation of mental health and stability that come forth in grief.
accompanying these visual expressions are written diary entries from an unnamed person. Through these entries, they describe their well-being in their own words to help their therapist understand their situation better.
The feelings and expressions of grief can lead people to unwanted places. An overbearing feeling of debilitation surrounds us like a cold winter blanket absolving those unable to fight for another day to come.
This project was made as an outlet for expressions and ideas that crossed my mind in the passing years while attending college and internships, and how I maneuvered through each passing day and relationship

64 bits intern work
I'm currently having my second internship at the studio of 64 Bits. We're working under the supervision of our video director/producer, Niels Beekes.
As of the time of writing this we are rounding up our last few assets for our Indiana Jones & The Great Circle MacDos Demake video. Below you'll Find some animations and background work i've made for this video.

Creative Flow
As a character artist i like to further immerse myself in every little fun detail that give a character it's unique look and personality. thus designing such a character requires a solid concept and added meaning through the principles of design philosophy, so you can immediately tell what the character is all about from only a little sketch

"the Illusion of Motion"
I'm currently learning all sorts of funky stuff with animation. As I said before I would love to make flashy and fun 2d animations full-time for everyone to enjoy. but as it is right now, I've still got a lot to learn, but I'm ready, eager, and highly passionate to try it all.
Animating all the subtle little expressions and bombastic movements is just something I love doing and I would love to be able to create so much more of it. And if the time ever comes, it would be a dream come true if I could put these silly little characters into a full-blown series of their own in a more serious setting with an established world filled with all sorts of other exciting and unique scenarios.
